1. Do you have Hobbies or Special Talents?
I make Framed Christmas Tree Art out of Vintage Jewelry. It’s a great de-stressor, especially when paired with a glass of wine. I also love to decorate my home.
2. If I’m not at home you can find me?
Hitting local thrift stores for treasures, visiting my parents who I’m very close to, having lunch with a girlfriend to catch up or volunteering at my son’s school.
3. Do you have any 4-legged roommates?
Lucy-Lou is 8. She’s half Yorkie & half Cocker spaniel. She’s old and set in her ways just like Ouiser Boudreaux in Steel Magnolia’s, Neyland – Go Vols!…he’s really my son’s dog but I claim him. Solid black mixed rescue dog. Looks ferocious but super sweet once he knows you, and Agagor Spartacus – my cat. He’s named after the movie “The Bird Cage” and he is a huge fluff-ball! Oh, and lots and lots of fish and turtles in our pond. Elvis and Dolly are our koi fish.
4. WHY CHATTANOOGA?
It’s home. I left once and couldn’t wait to get back. Had several offers to leave since and had no interest to do so. After all, in the words of Dorothy “There’s No Place Like Home!” and that’s the truth.
5. What favorite Furnishings or Art
I have an old Mid-Century Modern Piece that was handed down from my uncle. He had it built when he lived in New York. It’s very unique and funky. I love it because it was his and it reminds me every day of the importance of family. Plus it’s super cool! Above it, I have a vintage carved wooden piece of a DIVA in her chariot… It’s very empowering!
6. Fun Fact:
I have three sons born in three different decades.
